Laser Surgery

Surgical CO2 laser. Dr. Plant was one of the first veterinary dermatologists in the country to use a surgical CO2 laser in his practice. Laser surgery allows for precise surgery and healing with less swelling and pain. The CO2 laser is used to excise or ablate skin growths, remove skin folds that lead to chronic infection, and other procedures of the skin and ear.

Radiosurgery mass removal. Small skin masses can often be removed with local anesthesia and radiosurgery. Sedation or anesthesia may be required depending upon temperament and the location of the mass. These need to be first assessed at an examination.
